The 5th Taiwan Epigenomics Symposium and International Conference on Translational Medicine (Dec.5-6, 2025)

The 5th Taiwan Epigenomics Symposium and International Conference on Translational Medicine

The 5th Taiwan Epigenomics and Translational Medicine International Symposium was held on December 5-6, 2025, at National Chung Cheng University (CCU) and Ditmanson Medical Foundation Chia-Yi Christian Hospital (CYCH). Co-organized by CCU and CYCH with support from the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC), the event continued a prestigious academic tradition established in 2008, fostering international exchange in the fields of epigenomics and translational medicine. The symposium featured 24 distinguished speakers from the USA, Japan, India, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, attracting 124 participants, including scholars, physicians, and students. The program focused on high-impact themes such as non-coding RNA, DNA/RNA methylation, phase separation, novel cancer therapies, and the epigenetic regulation of autoimmune diseases. The first day, hosted at CCU, emphasized fundamental research and mechanistic insights. The second day shifted to CYCH, highlighting clinical applications and translational outcomes, showcasing the successful synergy between academia and the healthcare system. By providing a robust platform for knowledge sharing and poster presentations, the symposium strengthened Taiwan's international research ties, particularly in Central and Southern Taiwan, and achieved its goals of elevating research capacity and cultivating the next generation of scientific talent.
